Donnie "Zim" Zimmerman

“Zim” joined the National Preps team in June 2012 as the Director of Mid Atlantic Scouting after serving as President and CEO of the Playmaker Recruiting Report. Zim was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of National Preps in January 2013 – where he is responsible for leading / directing all facets of Business Operations for the National Preps Team. He is also the Director of Scouting for Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey responsible for content gathering, prospect knowledge in these talent rich states.

Zim has over 18 years experience of “scouting” HS football players, including 12 years as a College Football Coach serving as a position coach, recruiting coordinator and defensive coordinator at the BCS, FCS and D2 Level. He was the youngest Defensive Coordinator in Division I Football in 2000 @ 27 years old. He led the Towson Tigers to a 7-4 record(5 game turnaround from 2-9), a share of the Patriot League Championship and had the #1 ranked Defense in the Patriot League and 7th in the Nation in his first year at the DC.

He recruited two NFL Draft choices to Towson University – Madeiu Williams / DuVal HS(MD) / Minnesota Vikings 2nd Round and Jermon Bushrod / King George HS(VA) / New Orleans Saints 4th Round.

Zim was also the Vice President of the Velocity Sports Performance Alexandria, Va franchise where he directed all facets of Business Development and day to day operations. As Vice President, it was the Top Revenue Producing Center in the Velocity Sports Performance Franchise for 2006 and 2007 out of 75 nationwide - over $850,000K annually. This was accomplished in his 2nd and 3rd year as Vice President. The VSP Alexandria Franchise was also the Top Facility for year to year growth from 2005 to 2006 @ 63%.

Zim started the Playmaker Recruiting Report in 2009 and it quickly became the leading scouting service for colleges on prospects from the Mid Atlantic Region, partnering with over 105 Colleges.

Zim’s vision for the National Preps Platform is to become the Leading Scouting Service in the Nation for colleges at all levels providing accurate data / information, video, evaluations, with Scouts on the ground serving as an extension of our College Clients.

Zim is a lifelong Maryland resident, played HS football at DeMatha Catholic and was a 3 year starter at Towson University. He currently resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with his wife, Erin. They have 5 beautiful children: Noah, Eden, Emery, Maggie and Locksley.

Chad Jamison





Chad Jamison joins National Preps after serving in several roles with the NC State football program.  Chad most recently worked as the Director of High School Relations for the NC State football program (2005-2013).  In this position, Jamison served under three head coaches (Chuck Amato, Tom O’Brien, Dave Doeren) and was responsible for organizing and implementing the overall recruiting function for the Wolfpack.

Prior to his role as Director of High School Relations with NC State, Chad began his career in college athletics as a recruiting intern (2000) with NC State, learning under Curt Cignetti and Dr. Bob LaCivita.  After serving a year in this role, Chad then worked as the offensive GA (2001-03) for NC State working under Noel Mazzone, Marty Galbraith, and Mike Canales.  After completing his time as a GA with NC State, Jamison then travelled east to work for a year (2004) as the offensive GA at East Carolina University under then head coach John Thompson and offensive coordinator Noah Brindise.

During his time at NC state, Chad was fortunate enough to work with and aid in the recruiting of three NFL quarterbacks (Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Mike Glennon), see more than 30 Wolfpack players drafted (5 in the first round), and learn under many terrific coaches and administrators. 

In the spring of 1999, Jamison, a native of Delmont, Pa., served as a student assistant coach at his alma mater, Indiana University of Pennsylvania under Frank Cignetti. That fall, he went on to coach the secondary for Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, Pa.

Prior to getting back into college football, Jamison served as a Labor Relations Analyst in the Department of Environmental Protection for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

As a player, Jamison was a two-year letter-winner at cornerback for an IUP team that participated in the NCAA Div. II post-season playoffs three times. He earned his bachelor's degree in human resource management in December of 1997 from IUP and his master's in industrial and labor relations from the university in 1999.

Joe Windon

Joe Windon comes to National Preps after spending the past three years at Georgia Military College (GMC) in Milledgeville Georgia. While at GMC Joe coached the offensive line and headed the player personnel duties. During the three seasons Joe was at GMC he helped produce 5 BCS, 7 FCS and 3 D2 signees on the offensive line. Joe also assisted in placing more than 50 players into D1 and D2 programs across the nation. 

Prior to coaching at GMC Joe 9 years coaching High School Football in Georgia at McIntosh, Mt. Zion, Hardaway, and most recently at Carver High in Columbus Georgia. During his time as a High School Coach Joe played a part in assisting over 70 student athletes on to college football programs throughout the country. Notably over 40 of these young men into division I programs. 

Joe is originally from Jonesboro Georgia and attended Mount Zion High School. While at Mount Zion he played for celebrated head Coach Jackie Green. After High School Joe spent 2 years at Georgia Military College playing LB, during that time GMC compiled a record of 20 wins and only 2 losses. After the 1999 season Joe transferred to Tusculum College in Greenville Tennessee to finish his college playing career. Joe has two brothers David and Jacob, as well as three sisters Carolyn, Wendi, and Debbie.

Clint Cosgrove

Clint Cosgrove comes to National Preps after spending the last year as a Head Football Scout and Recruiting Educator for NCSA. In that position he was responsible for identifying and evaluating talent across the entire nation as well as filming webcasts and podcasts on different recruiting topics.

Prior to his role as a scout, Clint had a successful coaching career that included stops at Dartmouth College, University of Minnesota, and University of Nebraska. In that time he had the opportunity to coach in 3 bowl games and one Big 12 Championship game.

Before Clint’s coaching career he played one season as a WR at the University of Wisconsin before injuries ended his playing career prematurely.  After his injury he transferred to Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Political Science.

Clint comes from a football family.  His dad, Kevin, has been a Division 1 football coach for over 30 years.  He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife, Amy, and their two dogs, Dakota and Biscuit.

Todd Haldis

Todd Haldis is in his first year with National Preps as the Director of North East Scouting.

Todd grew up in Frederick, MD where he attended Gov. Thomas Johnson High School (2002-2006). While in high school Todd played 4 years of football as well as ran 2 years of track.

He continued his education at University Of Maryland-College Park (2006-2010), and majored in Kinesiology. While working towards his Undergraduate Degree, Todd also worked in the UMD football offices (2007-2010), where he assisted in recruiting and event management.

After college, Todd spent the following 2 years working at Playmaker Recruiting Report. In his first year he was the Video Assistant and then earned the position of Operations Coordinator. When Playmaker Recruiting Report merged with National Preps, Todd was hired on as National Preps Assistant Director of Mid-Atlantic Scouting. He is on road, gathering information in his areas of Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.


Rik Richards





Rik has been around football his entire life, becoming the youngest head coach in arena football at age 26.  Rik accomplished an 82-32 carreer record and sent over 30 players he has coached to the NFL.  Rik served as the associate VP of college scouting for the Orlando based Scouting Bureau from 2001 - 2010 for Steve Brown, conducting workouts and evlauations all across the country.

Rik also has served as an assistant coach at the collegiate level at the University of Mary.

Rik resides in the talent rich state of Louisiana with his wife Tanya, their 2 daughters, and their 100 lb Weimeraner, Ghost.  He is excited to add to the National Preps Mission while covering the Gulf South Region.

Erin Zimmerman




Erin graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Salisbury University in 2003.  For the past 10 years she has worked in the field of Graphic Design and Communications both freelancing and for individual companies.

She has worked along side her husband, Donnie Zimmerman, building Playmaker Recruiting Report from the ground up.  Her knowledge of Graphic Design, Video Editing, Building Websites makes her a valuable asset to the National Preps Team.

While working for National Preps, she also runs her own business as an AdvoCare Distributor, and is a stay-at-home mom to 5 cool kids: Noah, Eden, Emery, Maggie and Locksley
